On Saturday, April 4, the Uplands Network, the Winding Waters Group, and the Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter will hold a Grassroots Forest Forum Town Hall to discuss the Roadless Rule, a conservation policy adopted in 2001 that limits road construction and timber harvesting in certain areas of the National Forest System to preserve natural integrity, wildlife habitats and recreational value. This event offers an opportunity for like minded individuals and groups to come together to talk about ways to fight to preserve and protect our public lands - including the Charles C. Deam Wilderness in the Hoosier National Forest.
