2 injured in Sunday afternoon C.R. 650N fire

TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. - The German Township Volunteer Fire Department and Edinburgh Fire and Rescue were among the crews that responded to the 1800 block of County Road 650N in Taylorsville early Sunday afternoon for a residential blaze.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke conditions and made an aggressive attack. One victim was rescued from the house.

Two people were injured in the fire, with one transported to Columbus Regional Health by CRH EMS.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimate was reported.

Also assisting were the Clifford, Hope, Columbus Township, Harrison Township, and Clay Township Fire Departments.
