City, County offices closed on Presidents Day, trash on schedule

COLUMBUS, Ind. - All City of Columbus offices, including Columbus City Utilities, will be closed this Monday, February 16, to observe the Presidents' Day holiday.

Bartholomew County offices, including Solid Waste Management and the Columbus Recycling Center, will also be closed. The Bartholomew County Landfill will be open with normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Even though offices are not open, all trash and recyclable collections are on schedule with no delays. Have your toters out by 7 a.m.

Regular business hours resume on Tuesday, February 17.

Columbus City Utilities says that if you experience a problem with your water or sewer service on Presidents Day, call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
