COLUMBUS, Ind. - Columbus Regional Health (CRH) congratulates Dr. Mark Henderson, who was named as an Advocacy Champion at the Association for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Advocacy Summit in April.

Advocacy Champions are ASCO volunteers who have made meaningful contributions to the Association’s advocacy activities throughout the year, ensuring that every patient with cancer has access to high-quality cancer care, no matter who they are or where they live.

Throughout the past year, Dr. Henderson has reached out to legislators and their staff regarding issues important to cancer patients (funding for cancer research, access to care, and continuation of telehealth services), both through the ASCO ACT network and through in-person advocacy day visits in Washington, D.C.
