COLUMBUS, Ind. - Bartholomew County Sheriff Chris Lane officially signed up for re-election last week and is running for another term to be the top law enforcement officer in Bartholomew County.
Lane was the Deputy Sheriff under the previous Sheriff Matt Myers, and ran to lead the sheriff's office in 2022. He completes his first term this year and will be on the ballot for a second four-year term in November.
In a Facebook post, Sheriff Lane said, "Leadership, experience, and a steady hand at the helm matter, especially when it comes to public safety. My commitment to serving this community continues, and the next chapter is underway."
