Johnson County Fair starts this weekend

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Johnson County 4-H and Agricultural Fair officially opens on Sunday, but the Fair Parade is set for this Saturday afternoon in downtown Franklin.

The Parade kicks off this year's activities on Saturday, July 18, at 1 p.m., and will be held rain or shine.

Starting this Sunday, July 19, the midway is open every evening through July 25, from 5 to 11 p.m., and also on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons. There is a grandstand attraction every night.

One of the first big events of the Fair is the 2026 Miss Johnson County Fair Queen Contest on Sunday at 7 p.m. The pageant and crowning ceremony are scheduled for July 19, inside the McCarty Mulch Indoor Arena at the fairgrounds.
